It was a wonderful weekend; truly a gift for the soul. From the very first moment, both in the days leading up to it and once there, we were given plenty of information to feel at ease. Once on site, you find beautiful, well-kept facilities filled with a lovely energy and plenty of delicious food.
The ceremony itself is very special: an experience that inspires deep respect for nature, creates a sense of community, and takes you deep within yourself.
I have only words of gratitude for the team at Mira. They kept us well-informed, advised, and cared for at all times. It’s clear they have very big hearts.

The yagé experience in itself is something one must live at least once in his lifetime .
The team is AMAZING , i am struggling to find words to describe them, they are LOVING, CARING, CONCIDERATE, and PROFESSIONAL.
They provide a level of care and support that can only come from a place of love, they treat you as familly this word is used a lot commercially but i mean it .
They love and respect the medicine, I could not have found a better place for my first experience, all my anxiety and doubts evaporated litteraly in the first 10 minutes in the retreat.
And the setting in Barcelona, is like something from a dream, the house is beautiful in the middle of the dazzling countryside, with amazing views and a host with such a beautiful soul.
To summarize, MIRA offer an experience with an amount of love and respect for the medicine no amount of money can buy. And i feel like the price i paid, is just a symbolic price because with everything you get it should be in the high thousands

So ive just got back from a weekend with the Mira family.
Id been thinking about participating in an ayahuasca retreat for some time and had done an amazing amount of homework to get to know exactly what I was about to experience! I unfortunately didnt have the time to travel too far due to personal circumstances and cost.
This place was very reasonably priced and very doable, so i decided to reach out!
Well this weekend absolutely shattered all my expectations. I had made contact and spoke with Paula on the phone, she explained everything to me and also stayed in touch until I got to the retreat.
I knew I was already in good hands from speaking to her on the phone and feeling the caring vibe that she had.
I had such a profound experience, these guys work miracles! Ive seen it for myself!
I just cant believe ive been on this earth for 46 years looking for answers and to feel good in myself. Why didnt I do this sooner? Maybe I wasn't ready? I was this weekend gone and I will be forever in debt to Paula, Xavier and Daniel!
These people are the real deal! The connection I had was Truly magic and I have made some new friends for life!
The place was just lovely, comfortable, spacious and the food was also delicious!
I was totally taken care of and even still now they keep in touch with my integration back into my normal daily life.

Starting with a long phone call with Paula before receiving confirmation (to make sure it's a good fit and to answer all my questions) I was made to feel so absolutely safe, supported and welcomed by the entire team of MIRA every step of the way.
I was picked up from the train station by the lovely woman who owns the house we stayed at for the duration of the retreat. She dedicated herself to care for us like a mother and made me feel at home at all times during the four days I stayed there. The facilities were absolutely lovely and the location was really great. The beautiful stone house is right in the middle of nature, which felt so peaceful and there´s nothing more special than being able to witness the sun rise in absolute silence after each ceremony.
Through our sharing circles I know, that very single person in the group had a profound experience that felt like it deeply changed them and my personal experience was more than I could have ever hoped for.
I was dealing with a lot of resistance during the first two ceremonies, so much that I am sure it was very difficult to deal with me and Paula, Xavi, Dani and Taita Samith each showed me so much grace and helped me so patiently in their very own way in finding the trust to surrender to the medicine so she could give me exactly what I didn´t know I needed.
On the morning after the first ceremony, I had my first encounter with Kambo. I was the only person wanting to participate on that day while many others decided for the day after so I offered to join this group to not cause any inconvenience. Paula and Xavi decided to do the ceremony anyway, just with me. Letting myself being cared for by these two very special humans, having their full attention and accepting and surrendering to all of it was a moment of profound healing in and of itself for me, who is so used to always care for others.
It is very difficult to find a retreat that is authentic, decolonial and not rooted in the commercialization of the indigenous culture, and it is almost impossible to do so in Europe. Believe me, I have searched for quite some time. Vision MIRA is just that. I left with deep gratitude, wonder and profound appreciation for the chance of having been in the presence of such immense indigenous wisdom and love and I am humbled by the dedication put forth by the whole team in bringing healing to those who seek it. I will be returning with absolute certainty.
The beautiful humans of Vision MIRA have created something truly amazing and special and I fully and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

Ayahuasca-Yagé is an entheogenic brew or tea used in traditional ceremonies among the indigenous tribes of the Amazon made from the vine Banisteriopsis caapi and depending on the region or community, the Psychotria Viridis or Diplopterys Cabrerana leaf. The leaf contains N,N-DMT, a potent psychedelic among other alkaloids, and B. Caapi contains monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), in particular β-carboline, which work synergistically with DMT to produce and enable an experience of more lasting expansion of consciousness.The Ayahuasca-Yagé triggers personal development, spiritual evolution and new beginnings in conjunction with group accompaniment, the circles of word and the teachings of the traditions.
Kambo, also known as frog medicine, is the secretion of the Phyllomedusa Bicolor (the giant monkey frog), a bright green tree frog native to the Amazon basin. Kambo is frequently offered in detoxification treatments or retreats in conjunction with Ayahuasca and other plant medicines. This medicine "resets" the body by strengthening the immune system and also having various energetic and psycho-spiritual benefits. Scientific studies have described this medicine as a hidden treasure of bioactive peptides, short chains of amino acids that bind to human cell receptors, thus transforming themselves into what the body is needing, nourishing, complementing and healing it.
