RETREATS & CEREMONIES
MADE WITH LOVE & TRADITION
Our ethics and handling of traditional
culture
MIRA retreats are a space to share, connect with other people, grow and heal together. Each one comes with their unique experience and individual needs and at the same time we have a lot in common allowing that the experience of the other can support us in our own understanding of ourselves.
During the days that we will be together we will work with different tools, mainly with Yagé, which is the name that Ayahuasca receives in Colombia.
Yagé is a way of life and seeing the world with respect towards creation and Consciousness. Traditionally our grandparents met to share the medicine to heal their body, mind and spirit. In their visions they observed how to live coherently following the teachings of the spirit of Yagé and with great affection their tradition was formed. With their example they teach us to walk with love and harmony on this earth.
We have had the blessing of meeting the Cofan people from Putumayo Colombia, who have taught us their tools, their music and their tradition to perform the ceremonies.
Our family seeks to bring that, link worlds and make known the teachings of our grandparents, using the medicine that they sowed and the knowledge that they have been in charge of transmitting to preserve the tradition. Bringing this beautiful form of healing to this continent, sharing from the heart with transparency and humility.
Thus, with great enthusiasm we present ourselves and we hope to accompany all those who feel the call to know this remedy to heal and get closer to fulfilling their purposes, with good thoughts, sweet words and beautiful feelings.

Structure of
the ceremony
INTRODUCTION & WELCOME CIRCLE
We open the circle by sharing a word for guidance and everyone can present themselves and their intentions for the retreat.
CLEANSE & PROTECTION
The shaman or facilitator and support team purify the environment and energetically clear each participant, creating a protected and harmonious setting that supports a safe, comfortable, and positive experience.
BLESSING THE MEDICINE
Before the medicine is served, it is traditionally blessed; the shaman or facilitators invoke sacred chants to consecrate it and formally open the ceremony.
THE 1ST CUP
A first round of medicine is served.
SILENCE & INTROSPECTION
After drinking the first cup, a period of silence is left to allow participants to turn inward, connect more deeply with the plant, notice its initial effects, and centre their attention on their intention for the journey.
CHANTING & HARMONISATION
Sacred chants and the gentle melodies of harmonicas gradually emerge from the silence, guiding the energy of the space and supporting the unfolding journey.
THE 2ND CUP
A second serving of the medicine is offered, and participants may choose to receive it or wait until they feel genuinely ready. From this point forward, each person is invited to follow their own rhythm, requesting additional rounds as needed in alignment with their process and comfort.
MUSIC IN CEREMONY
Medicine music. The vibrations of voice and instrument act like a compass for the inner world soothing moments of intensity, deepening states of reflection, and weaving a sense of unity among everyone present. Through sound, the ceremony finds its rhythm, inviting balance, connection, and a deeper attunement to the process.
INDIVIDUAL HEALINGS
Participants will be called to receive an individual energetic cleanse to support and harmonize their process suited on each one's specific needs.
CLOSING
When the ceremony is coming to an end, after everyone's process is finished, all participants will be advised to go to their accommodations, enjoy some nourishing warm broth and take a well deserved rest.
